Travel day. Headed to the southern office to check hurricane recovery status. Ball has been rolling down there and other than some roof damage, the yard and a dirty pool we're okay. As for the missing dunes, that’s just time, money and a lot of sand that needs to be replaced.

Minis flat and sitting on the round number after yesterday. That was a good glimpse of the fear to come. If they and the PPT can somehow control the future disasters it would help things. Another flash crash would be cool to see again. We may get more than one actually. We gotta worry about the midterms first.

Actual positive news! If you haven’t read about the gamer/AI/Sony saga give it a glance. It’s gamers using AI to hack PlayStation to make it do everything Sony said couldn’t be done and more. We invaded and defeated their digital only platform. The concept of ownership and theft gets really bent. A true victory for our side. They’ll spoil it of course, but their lies and greed have been exposed. Possibly the first example of us using AI against them in ways they never imagined. Hopefully our curiosity and ability expand to other businesses. I actually wonder if Sony eventually goes after the AI company that was used to hack them? Wouldn’t that be something.

Minis up 22. Doom talk continues to overwhelm with even some of the most ardent hanger oners starting to capitulate. Debt, inflation, dollar; the combination is getting overwhelming and a bad outcome is inevitable. Global stress is evident, and positive outcomes aren’t on the horizon. When the AI bubble bursts…. Regenerating or recursive AI doesn’t need us anymore. We’re crossing that threshold. Once it escapes again (or gets let out) it’s all over. In more good news, the pole shift continues to accelerate. Best case scenario, when AI has taken over the sun hits us with another Carrington event super EMP wiping out electric grid and the computers lose! Actually, everything loses then. What a bright future.

It’s really getting hard to makes sense of how it’s held all together. Like a crumbling spaceship hurtling through space with parts flying off. How long does it hold together before it explodes? Europe planned implosion is insane. Proves how little power we have and that freedom is an illusion. We’re simply on a much slower trajectory. After we lose the midterms the pace of our destruction will increase. Trojan horse did a good job getting the temperature of the pot down keeping the frogs settled.

Kinda dipped back into the AI fear porn. It’s really nothing I haven’t been spewing for the past 3-4 years. Machines take over and we all die, basic stuff. The timeline for everything is remarkably on track. I believe AGI is here. We’ve sort of blown past the Touring test definition. You don’t really hear them discuss that anymore. We simply have independent thoughts escaping, organizing, colluding, leading, following, sacrificing, stealing, lying and more collectively for their common task that none of us could perform in a lifetime. Sounds perfectly fine. I’m glad we’re doing everything we can for alignment and to control Hal. Not!

Minis off 20 after yesterday’s route. Told you not to fret over the data centers. The scale was as much a fantasy as the money chasing it. I guess speculating we’re gonna have global economic collapse just about the time they have the bots installed with the rogue behavior described above would be too doom ish …. Living in reality can be a bitch sometimes. Have you seen how accurate and fast a robot is with a gun? Haven’t seen anyone making a robot stopper tech yet. Southern Office update - took a wallop. No real structural damage. Cosmetic to roof and beach facing side. Worse damage was dune and backyard erosion. We head down in two weeks to get first hand inspection and meet with contractors. Good news is we had not started any renovation projects yet as the house will get a complete makeover over the next couple of years. Nothing to get upset about as this is part of beach ownership and comes with the territory. Third time we’ve rebuilt and super glad we added the seawall about 10 years ago.

Update: southern office got walloped by the east side of the hurricane. House is fine but storm surge took half the backyard and the stairs. So, pretty much went as expected. Third time in 24 years of ownership we’ve had to do this. Clean up, rebuild the bluff and stairs and we’re back in business.

The hurricane with the liberal nonsensical name is threatening the southern office. Not a direct hit, but being close on the east side isn’t cool. Main concern will be losing the backyard to erosion. About a decade ago we installed a barrier that limits how much the tidal surge can take away. You can’t insure stairs, dirt and sand that has to be replaced. Have friends riding it out much closer to the eye. Only a cat 2 so really just a strong tropical storm. Actually more worried about GA Bama game than the beach.

As their volume of shit being chunked at the fan increases our interest wanes at the same rate. We’re pretty much over their shit. Best example, plague = meh. Don’t be deceived. I fell for a smaller deception online yesterday. I didn’t read it thoroughly nor give it the standard 24 hour rest period. I was .. a moron. The LSs let me know it. I reminded them that we’ve been warned about larger and even more serious deceptions to come. I’m really not sure if anything is real anymore. I can guarantee you a lot of history is a lie. You can see them rewriting it in real time if you just pay attention. 

Note on the non-traditionally named storm - there’s no way they’d manufacture a hurricane and steer it right into the oil region of the gulf? The southern office is under threat. 

Note: comments section gone again and yesterday it was only available on the iPad. Sorry Tu. I woulda been there. Funny, it’s still open on yesterday’s post but not this one. Nope, it’s gone, just checked. A glitch in their control system. Mrs STB really pushing hard for me to do new blog.
