So, I’m still going to transition STB to a new blog. The fog of election basically had me take it off the burner for obvious reasons. I’ll be launching a new LLC and incorporate proper structure. Minis flat. Technically - the rising wedge off the November low terminates around SPX 5800 in the second week of October. Wedge support has failed twice and is in its second backtest of failed support. 5250 - 5100 would be target if things should turn. If you’re into fraud and greed, the newly established lower rising wedge support diagonal from the recent failure extends the wedge well into next year (see my weekly chart) as it extends gains above wedge resistance off the 2020 lows. SPX weekly indicators were about to fail and monthly are maxed out .

On the Qs, they’ve fallen back under LT resistance which is 17,200 this Friday. DOW resistance this week should be 40,200. SPX might have a STB point at 5470 on Friday.

Ever seen the wave done ar a sporting event? There’s always one section that’s screws up the fun for everyone else when they decide to stay seated instead of playing with everyone else. Japan did that last night to the market route. Minis up 50. Minis fell to 5200 support which is right in the middle of the range I noted last week. It was easy to see coming. Price and the technicals laid it all out beautifully. The hard part was actually believing it could happen in such a rigged POS system they call a market. I’m pleased with every post I made last week. Now, let’s have some fun. STB best trade is on like Donkey Kong.

Minis off 12. Yesterday took /es through first support. From 5350 to 5000 is a previously congested area that will offer support. Below 5000 is a very slippery slope. 

As for cash, it’s parked on two critical support points. The 50dma and rising wedge diagonal support off the November low are all that’s left to hold price up. It’s a real STB best trade moment. If you don’t have your supplies, I suggest you get them sooner than later.

Remember when I count it’s only in 5s and 3s and vert short combinations. I don’t use hindsight and magic tricks to make my counts work either. Got that out of the way. Counting doesn’t always work, so we consider it. The form trying to count here is terrible. To keep this story short, a 5,3,5 would be what I’d look for here. We’re in the 3. 

Second, they really don’t want the 20/50dma bear cross so look for the whipsaw. 

Put the two together - whipsaw with the 3 to save the bear cross, then eyes open to see if another large leg down is to come.

Got to experience evil first hand in my Shangri-La of Athens this weekend. As we pulled into town for our last parent’s weekend event we drove past the law enforcement inundated apartment complex where Lakens murderer lived. We then took a right and drove past the intramural field where she was murdered. Then got to see and hear first hand how her murder took a toll on the students. Several in LS2’s class knew her very well. Uproar would be an understatement about the reaction to the sanctuary city policy. It’s pretty hot down here to say the least. We don’t take kindly to such. Ya really don’t want to piss off a bunch of God fearing, America loving southern folk. They did.

The daily indicators are really stressing a reversal, so some sort turn is about to happen. The weekly isn’t quite there, nor the monthly. Negative divergences are forming on longer time frames combined with very overbought conditions for a huge turn. The setup, barring an “event” of some sort, looks to trigger late this year or early next. There’s a great possible double HnS setup bout halfway formed. Tick, tick, tick…

Minis off 5. SPX within sight of 5k. NBD that we just bombed the shit out of the Middle East Friday. Glad to know at least the few here are awake to the insanity. STB best trade. STB still looking at potential of a reversal sooner than later. She’s deep into the statistically improbable range now. They won’t even be able to buy enough to maintain this trajectory. Look for domestic terror attack, panic, martial law scenario soon.

Minis up over 30. Tech blow out! Another green week. Thus, as STB always does, ya never make a call till AAPL reports. Now we’re free to speculate about a market move in either direction. 5k SPX looming above. Oh what a carrot they have in front of the horse. Folks they have to keep you distracted. After yesterday’s hiccup that brought cash back through 4900 the minis are up 25 this morning. Deleting 4900 was a bit of surprise. 4800 and 4700 offer good support.  Both round numbers house the 20 and 50dma. Problem is, the resistance diagonal for this recent sucker rally is also down at 4700. This should demonstrate how SPX is really extended here. Needless to say two reversal overthrow situations happened in this giant farce now forming a potential Head in a HnS situation. Neckline 4100. Target? STB’s favorite SPX 3200.

Minis flat. Both cash and minis just hanging out at 4900. I’m not sure there’s any “fear” at this point. (Edit: Evergrande may unleash some) There should be. The mindless and greedy roll along praising earthly possessions. STB best trade is always a great option.

Minis off 5. Ok, the short story is follow the Fed. The long version has two paths. One, they go balls deep for 5k. If they want that badge of honor, they’ll get it. Two, external factors due to their sheer arrogance give this suckers rally a day to six weeks before the rollover proceeds. That’s basically my last two calls in a nutshell. Technically I’m looking for clues to time the turn.

Minis flat hovering just under 4900. Cash spent about an hour above 4900. Another round number notch in the belt for team manipulation. I think they’re gonna make a run for 5k based on the indicators. Seeing a turn is sort of murky right now. You know me, I’ll keep looking.

Minis up a bit. Getting close enough to 4900 and even 5k round numbers, those prideful bastards may have to get both of them. Something to consider. Playing above the 20dma in this situation usually doesn’t last too long. They could get what they need tho. I’ll try to work out a week or a day to call the top. It’s what I do.

Minis up 20. Following through on Friday’s short slaughter this morning. We’ve all learned the gravity defying abilities that can be displayed by the market under QE (or even magically QT now) over the past decade. I believe I started saying follow the Fed before I gave this section of the post its rightful name. Keep nibbling STB best trade up here while we can. This super spectacular economy won’t last forever.

Minis up 20. The break of the 20dma yesterday brings a bit of normalcy. The markets do go up and down, if you haven’t forgotten. The charts are definitely leaning to a southern move here. We’ve all learned here at STB to follow the Fed among other things. I’m still leaning towards a southerly move and consolidation at a lower level.
