Minis up 10. Sitting 25 points under 4600 resistance. All we can do is wait on the Fed. Months ago some forecasted liquidity to end in August and others in October. I’d speculate it’ll never end till they break the machine. Who knows? Till then, I’m gonna call consolidation. Have not determined support or resistance levels yet. Possibly the least committed I’ve been to calling market levels in quite some time. I do lean more south here.

4600 target met. Now what? Don’t know. Stared at a lot  of charts for a while this week and not getting any clarity. Markets are all over the place. I’ll keep looking. The big thing is a target had been met and some reactions should occur.

Smoke from Canada made it all the way down here yesterday. Has anyone given us any good reasons why Canada is on fire? Bueller? Anyone? Didn’t think so. I’d lay odds a certain individual or group is behind this and it’s not a natural event.

Minis flat. Look, I’m as bored with the market as you are. There’s nothing to report. It is closing in on the 4600 triangle target, and some sort of reversal or retracement should happen there. Sadly this market is rigged and things don’t function properly when the Fed is in total control. How about this, SPX weekly support is 15% lower at 4000. The ATH is 2% higher. Your call here. Sounds like a good spot to execute a little STB best trade and lighten up on the long position.

So, after a cruise of the headlines this morning and reading a few articles, the only clear summation is not to read the narrative trash.

On to the lie - 

Minis flat. Two old time phrases came to mind this morning. 1) lipstick on a pig and 2) buy low sell high. ‘There’s a sucker born every day’ was a great understatement. The March to the 4600 triangle target resumes … it appears. Anyone ever notice how the market can time events? The closer we get to the target, ya may be wantin to start look around. (Southern emphasis mine)

On to the lie - 

We all saw the ascending triangle form and the breakout. Price initially got way ahead of itself on its journey to the 4600 target. Maybe that’s why this long consolidation is happening. There’s some natural/price resistance here, but this isn’t a spot I would have picked for it to park. Most likely scenario is they ran out of money to keep buying it up. I guess even if you have a printing press, you still must exercise some sort of restraint.

Pretty sure I’m not gonna like AI the way my dad didn’t like rock n roll. Wild, the ones who worship it, and one’s terrified by it. Really freaky the changes coming over the next 10 years. Nothing is stopping it.

AI is starting to freak me out because of the intentions of the actors using it. Then we move into quantum computing. The only reason there is to go to school now is to learn how to prompt a machine that can tell you everything (it is allowed to tell you).

Minis flat after a pretty droopy day yesterday. Maybe she’s run out of steam. We gotta wait on the Fed for direction. Technically we’re in no man’s land. I mean we are sitting not too far away from the ATH. Let that sink in. Resilient market?
