Wow, the futures last night went into the place of no return - and returned. I’m not giving up on 4k SPX yet, but this thing is ready to break. Question is, will they let it? Seriously dicey action. I said the trip to 4k could be volatile. This is nuts.

OK, back on the ‘watch the 20dma’ mantra, but as stated the run through 4k would most likely be very choppy with several attempts and failures. I’ve never seen em come so close to a milestone and not get it.

Let’s see how SPX reacts to 3950.The move through 4k should be more of a battle with several runs or tries. 3k wasn’t that way.  New territory and rules make this an unfamiliar game we play.

I still think they run at 4k SPX. I’ve never seen them get a taste of someone and not get it. It should be a testy job getting there. One should expect it to take several runs at it.  Funny, I said the same thing about 3k, and they blew through that round number resistance like nothing. So, ... yeah.
