Red Flags And A Yoda Sighting

The volleyball that is Greece was hit over the net several times today and no one scored a point. With all the secret meetings in Canada and Australia going on and Germany's being eliminated (at this time) from the 'I don't want to own Greece lotto' one has to wonder just what the banksters and global financial elite are cooking up this time?

Zero Hedge has "Greece Must Solve It's Own Budget Problems" That stops one step shy of Germany officially saying no (which I believe they did earlier in the day). No one wants this hot potato. The idea that a 'Red Flag' was thrown up to see the markets reactions to various scenarios/rumors is an interesting thought. I have whipped on this horse enough this week. Bottom line is if they get bailed out, whomever helps them only weakens their own already frail financial standing. On the other hand, the first domino to fall starts the chain. Do or die?

Throw into the mix Iran has a "surprise" for us to be announced on 2/11 and you may have enough disinfo out there to actually fool somebody! Israel wants more sanctions, Iran is gonna clog up shipping lanes, China is gonna sell treasuries to support a military build up. we're going to take over Iran and cripple China's oil supply (OK, I can go for that one), We have missiles aimed at Russia (I can go for that too). Actually it sounds like we are moving in for checkmate. The global tensions are building like two tectonic plates in the ring of fire. It should only be a matter of time before some slippage and the earthquake occurs.

I don't see Barney Frank trying to outlaw shorting against the PIIGS? Maybe the people at Overstock.com might have something to say about this strategy?

OK, I veered off course today in my web search ....

Rasmussen Reports has 63% Say Better for Country If Most of Congress Not Reelected. Ya think we've had enough? "A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 63% of likely voters believe, generally speaking, that it would be better for the country if most incumbents in Congress were defeated this November. Just 19% disagree and say it would be better if most congressional incumbents were reelected. Another 18% aren’t sure." If you are among the 37% that disagree or are not sure, please leave the country on a one way flight. Maybe you would like to move to China or Greece? The other links in their post are wonderful as well. Please click around and get a pulse on what the populace is thinking. It ain't good.

The most outrageous thing I have seen in some time comes from The Raw Story - No joke: South Carolina now requires ’subversives’ to register. This is funny as hell if you have not seen it. Dig this, "Five-dollar registration fee for persons planning to overthrow US government. Terrorists who want to overthrow the United States government must now register with South Carolina's Secretary of State and declare their intentions -- or face a $25,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison." LMAO - did you have to read that twice? If you are planning on overthrowing the government you need to pay $5 and go register with the government or face severe penalties and jail time. Oh lord us poor southerners can't help but to punch ourselves in the eye every now and then. And, NO, we really don't have anything better to do down here.

Must see - Apparently Yoda has aged, gotten a tan and got arrested in January on domestic assault charges. His attempt to hide from The Stith in a Utah jail has been foiled.

Have a good evening.
