Minis flat after the three day Xmas blitz. Japan bond sales really rocking the ship. Wonder what we did to piss them off, or is their economic situation that bad? Liquidity here is a very real issue. Curious about China dumping silver, and what that’ll do to JPM trying to corner the market? Two whales going at it. UST10 holds double backtest support, but it’s in a tight spot with two resistance points just ahead.

Looks like Venezuela is a wealth/protection grab. The Gulf of America move was a precursor to locking down everything inside the oceans from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Things aren’t good at all.

Minis up 20. Top of potential RS is doing well. Flat, long, narrow, just like we wanted. The only question is do they further defy reality or not? QE is sort of here stealthily dealing with PE and the liquidity crunch. Full blown QE will return. Will BTFD return with it? Ya can’t fight the Fed. I think we get a correction next year and then rally …. so they hold out till midterms are over. Distinct possibility THE top is set.

Minis off 10. RS top consolidation continues. Japan throwing monkey wrench into the spokes. The machine can’t handle many disruptions. Really liking my long term SPX targets. The only way to get out of this mess IMO and reset everything is a depression. Not sure they’ll allow that (for them) as the division between the haves and have nots grows. Their control of the system, and eventual move to digital will pummel what’s left of the middle class. Guns will eventually be the great equalizer. STB best trade.

Minis up 32. A higher high only means a larger fall. How long can they keep the farce alive? I’m guessing next year we have a correction to 6200 or 6000 then rally in the election year. Then in ‘27 it hits the fan as the lame duck Trojan horse departs. The carry trade is a problem. Countries dumping treasuries is a problem. PE is a problem. Debt is a problem. Liquidity is a problem. The AI circle jerk may be coming to an end. Of course QE and government bailouts are to come. Have no fear, the printing press is still here. Why is everyone in power pushing so hard for the technology that’ll eventually control us all (if we get to that point)?

Minis off 5. Last two days the DOW has rallied ~1500 points and SPX only 75. Clearly the have and have nots. Not a very reassuring model. SPX remains at a lower high clinging to the right shoulder. The launching pad may be set. Not sure if they have enough juice to get into orbit tho. The stealth QE is saving PE for now. The Fed is going to need a bigger fuel source. Moar is the answer. The 10yr dipped but held support for now. K shaped recovery only increases the distance between the haves and have nots. Middle class destruction continues.

In my continued effort to be positive till the end of the year - Counting down the days, get out there and celebrate and share The reason for the season! We gotta be saying Merry Christmas to lots of people. Sadly, I’ve yet have one person tell me MC first and some even look surprised I said it to them. The best are the ones that seem to light up when I say it. Give it a try.

After yesterday’s pop, minis tank and then rally quite a bit to be off only 21. This will keep SPX in the extending topping zone of the right shoulder. The Fed basically did a liquidity bandaid yesterday that’ll keep the wheels on till the end of the year. LT rates dipped a bit, but inflation is here to stay. The 10yr fell to backtest broken resistance. I do love what Pepsi did, lowering prices and sacrificing profit for the consumer. Absolutely stunning move to prove that greed is only in 99.99% of corporations. At this point the middle class appears to be falling further into the abyss with inadequate resources to ever be saved. We’ll harp more on that next year.

On the bright side this morning….um, X and Elon are calling out the EU for being the Orwellian nightmare they are, and so is the Trojan horse. So awesome to see our leaders standing up for human rights. Imagine, the US actually building a surveillance state that mimics China with social credit scores and stuff like that, impossible, right? PT and PLTR with OpenAI are building… what? Sure glad we got guns.

Minis flat on Fed day. We’ve been ahead of this decision mess for months and spot on with the SPX stall and the UST10 breakout. The tea leaves were easy to read, now all there is to do is follow the Fed. RS ramp or down? QE? How much? RS ramp or does the PPT control a slide to 6200 next year? They can’t keep piling on debt to solve all their problems, well, in a real world scenario they can’t. STB best trade.

Minis flat. Kinda like the way things are going here. Spot on my call from last week. Same with the UST10 flush in the middle of a possible breakout. In a confined area, two trend lines broken and just a resistance line left (which it’s parked on rn). I never got a final answer on the SPX RS result tho, so will they launch it or down 700 points to 6200 and the 200dma? They’re about to cut and QE, so who knows? BTC bear flag? Early in the year is a good time to reset and crash everything before the election rally later next year.

Ok, we’re trying to continue with the positivity thing this month. It appears evil or bad is being exposed. Sunlight is the great disinfectant. Maybe that’s why they’re spraying the skies? There’s a lot going on in those three sentences.

Minis up 10. Pleased my stall call played out last week. Should stay here or go down this week unless they ramp it. Remember it only goes where they want it to (until it doesn’t). A controlled pullback early next year leading to a rally for the elections would be optimal. UST10 at resistance well above the 50dma threatening a breakout. Let’s see what a QE announcement does. Liquidity is DOA and needs immediate assistance. May start commenting in crypto.

In our continued effort to be positive this month - The Trojan horse team exposes more fraud and corruption. Yea! No one has actually been arrested yet, but I’m sure, at some point, sometime, maybe, possibly, something more than accusations and sound bites will definitely happen. I’m positive, almost. Maybe.

Minis off 7. Either forming the top of the RS or a launch pad. Looks like the .25 rate cut will happen next week. Debt cost, jobs, inflation - at this point the cost of debt is the only thing affected by this cut, but until they stop spending nothing they do really matters. It’s a shit show out there. Ukraine war is ending, so they volunteered South America to be next. Enjoy the show. 

Update - inflation is real. My UST10 chart shows a higher low and has retaken the 50dma. I’m giving an IHnS a shot here. If neutral wedge resistance at 4.1 breaks, the target will be 4.35 which coincides with next resistance. Japan reversal carry trade. I think TA still possibly works for bonds.

Minis up 17. Right on track so far. Settled between 68 and 6900. Needs to remain there a few more weeks. Lower high key for bears. The improbable right shoulder ramp is always on the table. See ZH for JGB post. Ya know they want an up year next year for the election. QE coming. Can they hang on? UST10 popped above the 50dma. Inflation is underestimated. Great reset coming eventuality probably accompanied by war, don’t think Ukraine is settled yet. That corrupt slush fund/sacrifice must keep going. How much patience does Russia have?

Ok, its only day two, I’m trying to remember to be positive this month. Looks like X or Insta may be my only algorithms that allow me to see any positivity. Heck, Insta has even turned cats into judo gun toting neighborhood menaces. Gotta love Mr. Whiskers. Let me scroll past all the Erica memes. South Park .. no, Nissan Altima … no… conspiracy, conspiracy, … no. Ahhh, good news is you can get into some very positive Christianity loops. The algos haven’t eliminated those yet.

Minis up 16. RS building. Ramp or real? I think they keep it in a tight range for a bit. Watching UST 10. Fell under the 50dma but has four strong supports at 3.9. The neutral wedge has resistance at 4.5. If I’m right there could be a major move up in interest rates later next year. Carry trade breaking. Inflation underestimated. Dollar strength. Rest of world imploding. I’ll reiterate, China in very bad shape.

Minis off 47. Get by the holiday weekend and poof. Pretty basic stuff. Same issues persist. Carry trade and liquidity are serious threats (among a world of shit raining down rn). Repo market in serious trouble. 6800-6900 top of RS if they can’t ramp it. QE coming. Not so sure about rate cuts. I think they do their best to keep it alive though mid terms. That’ll only make debt more unreasonable.
