Minis up 60. Recent run off the lows is in the historic gains category. Deserved? $36T in debt and 9-20T needs to be refinanced very soon. Debt is growing as well. The plandemic not only physically destroyed us but fiscally as well. There’s a lot of good happening, but will it be enough? Can a recession be avoided? Inflation kept under control? Is Powell wrong? Like I’ve said, I don’t remember a time when economists and pundits have ever been so divided. Do you inflate or deflate your way out of this mess? How can things be more inflated? I think we’re gonna get a deflation reset and it might get messy. Consumer is tapped out. Government is tapped out. AI on the way. All these folks trained on welfare, without jobs to go to. UBI will be a thing. Can we maintain freedom in a controlled state? STB best trade.

I’ve noted the rumbling in the NW, I’d consider Kamchatka an extension of that. The whole ring of fire is kinda going off. The volcanic activity in the NW is most concerning. Interstellar visitors and asteroids? Pole shift. Galactic plane. Space dust. Antarctic funk. Lots going on we can only watch. Prayers for those affected by the EQ and possible tsunami. 

Deep state vs New state war is something. The optics they’re pushing are good, but in the end I’m afraid the results will be the same.

Minis up 10. 6400 SPX conquered. Mag7 earnings and talk of a short squeeze melt up. Mentioned that others liked 6800 as a target. Really haven’t seen any higher targets mentioned. I see lots of division of options on where and how we’re going as a whole. Good arguments on both sides, some rooted in history and reality, others in status quo all is well and some a mix. Technically, look at the monthly indicators, they’re ob and have sick negative divergences. Read that again. The daily indicators have flatlined. Weekly slamming into decade long resistance diagonal. IMO any move up from here is seriously dangerous to ride technically. The charts look bad, terrible actually, but we’ve seen this story before haven’t we. STB best trade.

Onto the lie - 

Minis up 4 eclipsing 6400. Cash still needs 50 points to get there. Daily has indicators maxed out and flat lined for two months. Key thing - weekly at LT resistance diagonal going back to 2015. Something will cause a turn very soon. If they break this resistance diagonal, price literally enters fantasy land. It would trigger a parabolic situation, which we all know ain’t possible to maintain. 

Remember when I said if you held 10% of your portfolio in gold it would probably make up for all the market losses suffered in the big crash? I still think that is possible. If Trump eliminates the Fed and goes back to gold standard, no telling what gold can get revalued to. Silver might be about to pop as well.

A puppet regime full of “N” types dismantling anti-corruption agencies that’s running a successful live war lab for the military industrial complex - fascinating. Oshitthead under fire. I love the internet’s reaction, we’ll care when someone actually goes to jail. Lip service is just that. We’re tired of it. Enjoy the show.

Minis up 20. Extend and pretend into a soft landing facing turbulence. Powell might be deep states last hope for America's destruction. At least he has a short shelf life. Government needs lower rates to refi 9T in debt, and he’s in the way. Is he helping control inflation, actually concerned about tariffs or serving the banks? Consumers need rate relief badly. Deflation or recession/depression possibly on the way? We could see ZIRP again in the future as things are mirroring ‘08-09. 

And from the comments, sources I follow have China in real trouble, starting with 60T in debt and 300% debt/GDP with political turmoil, population collapse, RE collapse, bank failure, corruption everywhere, the list is long. Global problem is there’s not enough jobs and AI on the way. Massive deflation to reset the grid for everyone seems necessary as we can’t grow our way out of this. We can’t just keep spending. The C19 relief/excess debt must be worked off. Free shit for everyone doesn’t work in perpetuity. Pay the piper. Next up, Trump dumping the dollar? Ending the Fed? He’s pathing the way for digital currency quickly. Control state? JDV and PT with SA? Terrifying. Again, Trojan horse?

Good morning STB! 

MA in ZH post says plan on nuclear war. This is what I’ve been hinting at all along as Russia and China continue to collapse economically, and Putin and Xi lose their grip as their countries spiral out of control (especially China). Russia’s big problem is they’re getting their butts kicked. They’re running out of ammo and in the end rather than lose all ground gained including Crimea and admit defeat, the nuclear option could present itself. Hopefully cooler heads prevail, but with potential leadership changes in two of the world’s supposed superpowers, at least nuclear, things could get dicey. Russia is militarily impotent, and China has proven its military tech to be mostly fraudulent. The EU wants to neuter Russia, if they push too far, Russia may push back with its final option.

Minis up 15. 6400 was all I was willing to give SPX. I’ll probably be proven wrong as they’ll max out risk on, pump liquidity and create more FOMO before it all burns down. I’m giving it from today to two years max. They can’t hold on forever. Rate cuts have to come. Powell, the last deep state holdover, may be forced to cut. Bottom line is everything is broken. The banks are in real trouble with the CRE collapse being buried for now, the consumer is tapped out, debt unsustainable, AI inbound, the list is long.

The Open Championship should be a good morning watch this weekend. Glorious course that’ll challenge the best.

Sticking with warning everything is bad everywhere. China is especially bad, like really bad. I started warning about China a while back. Xi in trouble, economic collapse and population collapse (this is wild when you look onto the thousands of elementary schools that have closed over the past 5 years - apparently they took the depopulation agenda more seriously than most) not to mention their military tech is being proven to be very substandard. China is an absolute mess. Russia obviously has its problems and is almost out of money. Central banks are having to drop rates everywhere. At home we’re not in that good of shape either with recession fears and the aftermath of the Branden regime. Global instability combined with serious global economic issues isn’t an optimal combination. Shall we throw in solar maximum, pole shift, climate manipulation, earthquakes and volcanic activity?

On to the lie - 

Minis up 5. I was down with SPX getting to 6400 but not more. Others were looking to 6800. She’s tired. I’m gonna speculate we get an 8-10% pullback soon, and we’ll see how much liquidity they decide to throw at it then. Banks across the globe are in trouble. CDS and other insurance type plays are gathering steam. Global reset coming. Cash at the bottom is king.

Looks like actual justice is coming in DC, just not as fast as people want it, nor in the order they prefer. I’m positive Trump has laid out a plan of attack that will layer from least to greatest and leverage the smaller parties. Let’s see if we gather actual convictions and not just lip service. The people want justice.

Minis up 25. Daily indicators working that sell signal hard. Like it really matters. CPI a bit hot. Higher for longer? Again, I've never seen the economic prognosticators so divided. A literal range from depression to massive melt up.  Both sides have data to back their arguments. One is rooted in reality, and the other in manipulation. As we say, this isn’t your father’s market anymore. IMO if we go back to ZIRP and QE, then the depression side is right. Trump needs lower rates to refinance massive debt load (9T upcoming). CPI didn’t help. It’s a fine mess we’re in, and AI is coming in hot with job replacement. Think about it, you can now, with AI, have a hot economy with massive job loss. Wrap your head around that one.

I’ve decided to remain patient and not react to the recent very unpopular issues and decisions made in DC. Reacting immediately to most anything these days is usually not the way to go. There’s a war on for your mind. Don’t let them win. Remain patient and diligent in search for truth. It’s very hard to find. In other words try to separate yourself from the show. Who holds real power over DC? Is that being exposed as an act in the play?

My take -  the Epstein thing is the first lame duck maneuver of Trump. He knows what he’s doing, and he’s using it as leverage plus shoving it down the road. To me this is our JFK moment. It’s pathetic and not what we voted for. I’ll leave foreign countries/entities out of the analysis. It’s terrible. Again, a country without justice at the top for the elite is doomed.

Minis off 35. Told ya, she’s tired. 6400 still possible, but this move is running out of steam. Several prognosticators like a 5-8% pullback here before a massive run up. I think they’re delusional, but in a rigged casino the house has a way of winning and big. As long as they can print and the dollar is viable, we seem to be immune to any sort of real correction. Watch the banks. Global changes coming. Instability may become a theme.

Almost feel like I need to apologize for the constant negativity in this part of the post. There is good out there. Things have improved under the new regime. We’ve dodged bullets to get here. Sadly, reality cannot be ignored. Bad people with really bad agendas exist.

Minis flat. She seems to be stalling out. Altitude has its own rules. Like climbing Everest, oxygen supplies are crucial. As I’ve discussed, sentiment is so mixed between up or down. ZH top post this morning discussing violent disagreement. How can you bet against a rigged system? Well, maybe it’s finally getting so bad out there that a larger group are now calling it as they actually see it? Recession or not? My local gas station owner (still got those down here) was fussin yesterday about people shopping gas prices - in other words, the wealthy moms he pumps gas for are now pumping their own gas cheaper at other places. This only happened once before in ‘08. The consumer is tapped out. Stimmy money is gone. Things are changing. So, when does QE return? Lowering rates? Massive liquidity injections? Can they get another stick save? You’re on one side or the other. Let’s not address global issues this morning that dampen the picture.

Reality is a shit show. Feel sorry for those in a bubble. The actual improvements happening may wind up being part of the show/plan. Keep us calm and divided. How long will the calm last? “Fatigue” is actually becoming a thing and the various stereotypes are being recognized (see Carnival as one example). Some at some point will refuse to pay for the other.

STB best trade - pull a little out all along and reallocate to non dollar assets. Best trade ever, fiat for real assets.

The temperature of the water keeps on creeping up. Sad thing is, those that are aware can’t even escape the pot. No Epstein list? Well, that tells you all you need to know about actual justice and the elite. Elite is the wrong term, evil would be more concise. Xi is about done, and China is literally collapsing. Russia isn’t far behind. Global instability is rising. Let’s not forget the quickening pole shift.

As for the 4th down here on the Gulf of America, More people than I’ve ever seen and more money dropped on fireworks than ever before. I’m in a higher rent district and rental isn’t cheap. This place was packed. But it’s a ghost town now as it was before. Bubble building projects like ‘07. Down payments to join private clubs are out of hand. Very reminiscent of peaks before.

Minis off 15. DOW so close to new ATH. OK, so the bank problem I thought we’d have in May is finally showing up. The Fed is about to dump some serious liquidity. Banks are out of money. So, has anyone else noticed the divide between market forecasting? Like trusted sources that usually move in lockstep are now on separate paths? Some remain on the path of doom and others are talking electric market growth. With Trump, BBB and the liquidity dump (QE return) and the world collapsing around us, I can see it. On the other hand, soon to be 40T in debt, RE collapse incoming and tapped out consumer (and don’t forget AI), we don’t look too stable either. Is there a chance they push the cart down the road maybe two more years? I’m mulling that one over. I like to think I know a sheister when I see one.

There’s a lot of good on both sides of the Elon v Trump feud. I actually think Trump knows something Elon doesn’t, if it’s all not just part of the show. At this point, we have to trust Trump is making the right move. Elon is technically correct tho.

Minis off 19. Imagine a 10% pullback soon and another rally. Now see the giant IHnS it would make? STB best trade is about asset allocation. Selling a bit of fiat at a time (which is worth less each day) into real assets (like gold that are gaining value) that can store wealth is what it’s all about. Pretty sure at one time long ago, I speculated that if you had 10% of your portfolio in gold it’s rise would be enough to offset the devastation of your portfolio.
