Minis up 17. Right on track so far. Settled between 68 and 6900. Needs to remain there a few more weeks. Lower high key for bears. The improbable right shoulder ramp is always on the table. See ZH for JGB post. Ya know they want an up year next year for the election. QE coming. Can they hang on? UST10 popped above the 50dma. Inflation is underestimated. Great reset coming eventuality probably accompanied by war, don’t think Ukraine is settled yet. That corrupt slush fund/sacrifice must keep going. How much patience does Russia have?

Ok, its only day two, I’m trying to remember to be positive this month. Looks like X or Insta may be my only algorithms that allow me to see any positivity. Heck, Insta has even turned cats into judo gun toting neighborhood menaces. Gotta love Mr. Whiskers. Let me scroll past all the Erica memes. South Park .. no, Nissan Altima … no… conspiracy, conspiracy, … no. Ahhh, good news is you can get into some very positive Christianity loops. The algos haven’t eliminated those yet.

Minis up 16. RS building. Ramp or real? I think they keep it in a tight range for a bit. Watching UST 10. Fell under the 50dma but has four strong supports at 3.9. The neutral wedge has resistance at 4.5. If I’m right there could be a major move up in interest rates later next year. Carry trade breaking. Inflation underestimated. Dollar strength. Rest of world imploding. I’ll reiterate, China in very bad shape.

Minis off 47. Get by the holiday weekend and poof. Pretty basic stuff. Same issues persist. Carry trade and liquidity are serious threats (among a world of shit raining down rn). Repo market in serious trouble. 6800-6900 top of RS if they can’t ramp it. QE coming. Not so sure about rate cuts. I think they do their best to keep it alive though mid terms. That’ll only make debt more unreasonable.

Stealth QE is barely maintaining. The Japan carry trade blow up, private equity, debt, inflation, jobs, the AI circle jerk, CDS and MBS, the list is even longer and all market negative rn. Not sure if throwing all this in the QE cat box will work this time. Lipstick on a pig. STB best trade.

My thoughts on my rep MTG resigning - good for her. We’ll miss her up there fighting, but a smart woman that loves her country saw the writing on the wall first hand. She witnessed the Trojan horse and dipped. I’d vote for her for anything. Just MHO.

Minis up 44. Minis chart is a lot more clean than SPX. I’m still on the possible RS formation or launch pad. That formation only gets you to 6200 or possibly the round number. Percentage wise it’s big, but as reality goes it’s a drop in the bucket. If they get a rate cut and QE the Beas are in trouble. As noted, the Fed has lost control. IMO they need to fight inflation, fighting job loss vs AI is not really in their control anymore. Private equity will most likely be the catalyst. The banks tried to offshore their bad lending to hide it, but it’ll still come back to haunt them. There is NO liquidity, and that’s what we’ve been looking for seemingly forever. Watch the repo market. The whole game is rigged, so … yeah. The old STB “exogenous event” is about the only thing that can stop them now. They’ll print their way out of anything, till they can’t. It’s really really bad out there. STB best trade, get ready.

Minis up 40. STB was on 6550 back on Monday as support to look for. The crash of the Japan carry trade is another big blow to the free money crowd. They’re throwing rate cut headlines to counter. The good jobs number put a dent in those hopes. Inflation is the real problem. The 10yr has been holding the 50dma support. 6200, and now the round number, are still in play. Roughly 300 points if the HnS triggers. QE coming, so I’m not in super crash mode yet. Walmart and HD warnings further reality check inbound.

Minis flat. SPX closed below the 50dma. Ouch. 100dma at 6550 key support now. So we’ve been warning about the lack of cash/repo issues for a minute. Fed has an emergency closed door session. Not so sure I remember anything like that happening. They’ve lost control. Frankenstein is loose in the woods. Any disruption in the big tech circle jerk destroys hedge fund margin. Bloodbath would be an understatement. They can’t allow a crash. QE very soon. Rate cuts and stimulus? Thats like pineapple on a pizza, only good for the very few with bad taste and a healthy disrespect for Italian food. Oh, China's financial and social death spiral continues. Ukraine has lost the war and refuses to quit while they can. Irump the Trojan Horse.

Am I missing something or is the holiday season off to a really slow start this year? Economically and socially I don’t think people are ready to celebrate much of anything rn. I do think the division they’ve sewn is completely and utterly backfiring as truth is spread and narratives are destroyed. 1984 is real and we’re beginning to see through the veil. This could be the biggest Christmas in decades as far as religious aspect goes. It’s not about packages, boxes or bags, perhaps, it means so much more.

Yup. I’ll stop there. No real need to explain this any further. What’s not broken? 10yrUST cracked and closed above the 50dma resistance yesterday. Curious to see what it does. Will that end the downtrend? Massive support on the weekly chart here. Monthly chart rising wedge support in a bullish stance. Targets over 5% early 2027. Maybe TA still works for the bonds?

Minis off 10. Powell actually did well yesterday. The mixed bag approach might have been sincere. My UST10yr weekly chart is at the floor of a consolidation wedge near 3.85 with four supports here saying it should hold and return to 4.6%. Here’s the deal, the Fed can’t really fight unemployment anymore with AI destroying jobs, but it can fight inflation. Bottom line is we need the bubble to burst and a reset. The liquidity problem was finally mentioned briefly by Powell. We got a double bubble, tech and banks wrapped up in one package.

No liquidity. Whole bunches of wealth will be destroyed. How long can they hang on? I’m actually willing to give them up to a year or more cause they can still print at will. After falling and checking 6600 the minis are only off 4. Well, two Fridays ago I told ya to look for a spike in the VIX. I was a week early. The liquidity/bank crisis I was looking for in May is 5 months late, but better late than never. The bubbles are insane. The Fed may have actually lost control. My favorite target, 3200, is right at a 50% drop, but I wouldn’t rule out a backtest of the old ATH double top at 1600. STB best trade everyone. Protect yourself and your assets.

Interesting data that were possibly exiting a recession.

The discussion is switching to what sort of new or different solution will they come up with to manage our current situation? Revaluation of gold seems to be a thing. Ukraine war needs to end. The illegitimate regime in Kyiv will resist insisting on settlement demands that are unrealistic given the current state of ground gains they’ll never be able to recover. Here’s the key no one discusses, the main supply of fresh water to Crimea comes from an area of Ukraine Russia doesn’t control yet. Crimea can’t sustain a population without this water source. Russia hasn’t taken control of this area of Ukraine yet. Ukraine is also running out of people, and the vast majority of those left alive are against the war. Regime change in Ukraine is something everyone wants. Thats why they’re not involved in the meeting today. The end of this war will be another nail in the deep state coffin. Can we stop the military industrial complex from starting another one?

As got the charts, look for a lower top. Market value consolidation in the top names a a record only seen in ‘29 and ‘99. Bottom line is the top 10 are holding everything up at this point.

CRE and banks are about to have their reckoning when asset price revaluation happens. Buffet indicator at 200%. Bottom line is the stimmy period broke everything and spoiled everyone. Did you know 61% retracement from ‘08 low to high is right at SPX 3,000? That’s awfully close to my favorite number 3,200. If they stop the fall at 50% that would be miraculous.

Minis up a bit but fading. I believe the monthly indicators will trigger a sell signal this year. That’s a big deal. Monthly always lags. Daily triggered twice, once in May and again in June. Weekly indicators are sorta broken, so a reversal off resistance will happen there, like very soon. The rubber band is about to pop I think. Indicators can be overrun by intervention. We’ve witnessed this since 2010. 15 years later and 36T in debt, that game is about to end. We’re in a recession now. They may be forced to admit it. Can they avoid a depression is the question. I see lots of division of options on where and how we’re going as a whole. Good arguments on both sides, some rooted in history and reality, others in status quo all is well and some a mix. Technically, look at the monthly indicators, they’re ob and have sick negative divergences. Read that again. The daily indicators have flatlined. Weekly slamming into decade long resistance diagonal. IMO any move up from here is seriously dangerous to ride technically. The charts look bad, terrible actually, but we’ve seen this story before haven’t we. STB best trade.

Minis up 4 eclipsing 6400. Cash still needs 50 points to get there. Daily has indicators maxed out and flat lined for two months. Key thing - weekly at LT resistance diagonal going back to 2015. Something will cause a turn very soon. If they break this resistance diagonal, price literally enters fantasy land. It would trigger a parabolic situation, which we all know ain’t possible to maintain. 

Remember when I said if you held 10% of your portfolio in gold it would probably make up for all the market losses suffered in the big crash? I still think that is possible. If Trump eliminates the Fed and goes back to gold standard, no telling what gold can get revalued to. Silver might be about to pop as well.

Deflation or recession/depression possibly on the way? We could see ZIRP again in the future as things are mirroring ‘08-09. 

And from the comments, sources I follow have China in real trouble, starting with 60T in debt and 300% debt/GDP with political turmoil, population collapse, RE collapse, bank failure, corruption everywhere, the list is long. Global problem is there’s not enough jobs and AI on the way. Massive deflation to reset the grid for everyone seems necessary as we can’t grow our way out of this. We can’t just keep spending. The C19 relief/excess debt must be worked off. Free shit for everyone doesn’t work in perpetuity. Pay the piper. Next up, Trump dumping the dollar? Ending the Fed? MA in ZH post says plan on nuclear war. This is what I’ve been hinting at all along as Russia and China continue to collapse economically, and Putin and Xi lose their grip as their countries spiral out of control (especially China). Russia’s big problem is they’re getting their butts kicked. They’re running out of ammo and in the end rather than lose all ground gained including Crimea and admit defeat, the nuclear option could present itself. Hopefully cooler heads prevail, but with potential leadership changes in two of the world’s supposed superpowers, at least nuclear, things could get dicey. Russia is militarily impotent, and China has proven its military tech to be mostly fraudulent. The EU wants to neuter Russia, if they push too far, Russia may push back with its final option.

Minis up 15. 6400 was all I was willing to give SPX. I’ll probably be proven wrong as they’ll max out risk on, pump liquidity and create more FOMO before it all burns down. I’m giving it from today to two years max. They can’t hold on forever. Rate cuts have to come. Powell, the last deep state holdover, may be forced to cut. Bottom line is everything is broken. The banks are in real trouble with the CRE collapse being buried for now, the consumer is tapped out, debt unsustainable, AI inbound, the list is long.

Sticking with warning everything is bad everywhere. China is especially bad, like really bad. I started warning about China a while back. Xi in trouble, economic collapse and population collapse (this is wild when you look onto the thousands of elementary schools that have closed over the past 5 years - apparently they took the depopulation agenda more seriously than most) not to mention their military tech is being proven to be very substandard. China is an absolute mess. Russia obviously has its problems and is almost out of money. Central banks are having to drop rates everywhere. At home we’re not in that good of shape either with recession fears and the aftermath of the Branden regime. Global instability combined with serious global economic issues isn’t an optimal combination. Shall we throw in solar maximum, pole shift, climate manipulation, earthquakes and volcanic activity?

My local gas station owner (still got those down here) was fussin yesterday about people shopping gas prices - in other words, the wealthy moms he pumps gas for are now pumping their own gas cheaper at other places. This only happened once before in ‘08. The consumer is tapped out. Stimmy money is gone. Things are changing. So, when does QE return? Lowering rates? Massive liquidity injections? Can they get another stick save? You’re on one side or the other. Let’s not address global issues this morning that dampen the picture.

Some remain on the path of doom and others are talking electric market growth. With Trump, BBB and the liquidity dump (QE return) and the world collapsing around us, I can see it. On the other hand, soon to be 40T in debt, RE collapse incoming and tapped out consumer (and don’t forget AI), we don’t look too stable either. Selling a bit of fiat at a time (which is worth less each day) into real assets (like gold that are gaining value) that can store wealth is what it’s all about. Pretty sure at one time long ago, I speculated that if you had 10% of your portfolio in gold it’s rise would be enough to offset the devastation of your portfolio.

Good morning STB!

My head is all over the place this week. It really shouldn’t be. It’s just so much stuff. I’m settling back into the STB best trade zone that I never should have left. When Thiel and Altman hooked up in the White House, that probably sealed the control state. Just a quiet little thing that no one really paid attention to. Military surveillance and the AI leader together with the president, what could go wrong? Is Trump the deep state’s Trojan Horse? Anyway, I’ve got system overload. Thats probably not a good sign.

Minis up 20 with ES over 6200. SPX will see a new ATH just ahead of the 4th, so we can all celebrate how awesome things are next week under Trump. Are you enjoying the show? No one will mention the possibility of recession as underlying economic conditions continue to rot. Next week is a great chance to get my catalyst. T events in the US possible? A convenient excuse? According to Monkey surveillance flights have never been more prevalent. Don’t know. Like I said, I’m everywhere rn. My hopes of a lower high go the way of another ATH, but we all pretty much saw it coming. Everyone needs to pile into the markets ahead of a recession. Get yours while you can. So many moving parts, few in the right direction.

12 Day War might have been more like 12 days of darkness. You gotta wonder what they did while we were all distracted. One thing is for sure, global government debt and financial problems didn’t go away. It may be they decide to bury Russia and China while they can. Russia is almost flatlined economically. China may be in even worse shape. The EU and USA aren’t that much better, but they’re still better. Bottom line is there’s turmoil everywhere. You know the PTB won’t let a problem go to waste. Freedom is fleeting. STB best trade, if the citizens of China had followed, while we still can. Watch NYC. Will it become our London? Pay attention. (Note on Russia - they literally are getting their ass kicked. Ukraine is droning them to death. Russia doesn’t have the money, tech or infrastructure to maintain much longer. Putin is in a really bad position.) Add - Xi in China may be out very soon.

Minis up 20 but bouncy. ATH closer for SPX. Daily indicators still, possibly even worse now after the short squeeze, in sell mode. Peak Corruption and manipulation. We gotta deal with it. STB patiently waiting on a catalyst. RE crash is finally making it into mainstream thought. Autos as well. Too many are upside down on their largest assets with no way out. Somehow inflation is still a thing? Again, STB best trade. Great reset is OTW. AI is here.

I don’t think much has changed. Real news or exposure exists. Sorting through the BS to get to what’s real can be difficult. Sometimes it’s obvious and others you have to wait for clarity. What they really want hidden can be socked away or right in front of you. Orwellian control is a thing. How much is scripted vs reaction can be debated. Piercing the veil, it’s not a pretty thing. Cake and circus.

Minis up 10. TA defeated again, for now. All is well I guess. What I think I’m seeing is our markets are the only place in the world to invest. Immune to economic/social anything they continue to rise. We have till October to avoid the inverted yield curve to recovery 12 month curse. More often than not a recession occurs. Like ‘07, I think we’re there. The money flow and corruption are staggering. Waiting on a catalyst. Russia and China are wounded animals, very dangerous. AI is coming in hot.

Minis flat. Lower highs and lows was the trend last week. Not huge, but something. Watching 6000 round number support. New ATH still not out of the question, but it’s only a matter of time before national and personal debt hits hard. RE and Auto are going to be devastated. It’s happening now. So many will be upside down.

Ok, we’ve gone from the EU wanting war to hide their problems to China doing the same. Man, you start ripping bandages off things it gets ugly fast. Like a bunch of petulant spoiled children getting caught and blaming others. Everything is cool till someone gets caught and called out. Told ya China is in big trouble. Tariffs ripped their band-aid off. Xi won’t last much longer. Iran losing really hurts them in many ways. If we can avoid WWIII, the world actually has a chance to become a much better place.

Minis recover 80 to be up 20. I’ve been so all over this potential turn, hate to see them win AGAIN. Must have catalyst. One thats, “Out of their control.” It never should have recovered this high in the first place. P. T. Barnum said it best.

Minis off 40. Possible 100 point triangle and a 300 point HnS. This would close the gap to to 5700. Lower high? I haven’t given up hope yet. Not much, but the daily sell triggered, and it would be nice to see TA work, rather than a manipulated market win all the time.

Good morning STB! 

At this point it does not look like the two wars will spread, but you never know. I’ve been harping on how Russia in trouble, but now without Iran to supply them with drones, they’re really in deep trouble. Like the only offense/defense they’ll have will be nuclear. They’re exposed. They don’t have the capacity to manufacture enough of anything to sustain the war effort against Ukraine. Russia really needs peace, and Ukraine realistically might get all its property back. As for Israel/Iran, let’s hope it’s over soon. With Iran and Russia neutered, add China in collapse, the world may just hit a long period of peacefulness. We may be in trouble if China has hidden drones in all the land it owns by our military bases.

Minis popping up 40. Obviously war is good for business. We know stealth QE is. They have a knack for great stick saves. Looks like another is coming. Get enough shorts lined up and whammo! Rinse/repeat. Daily SPX literally triggers a sell signal on Friday and QE comes Monday. Watch the 50ma on all timeframes. I’m not giving up on the lower high yet, but it’s bleak. FOMC will be interesting.

Happy 33 year anniversary to Mrs. STB! Destroying the national average we are. Not sure if she thought it funny when I said we are now level 33rd degree master marriage. 

Chaos continues. Bottom line, I have to agree that Iran should never have nuclear weapons. They’re simply a terroirst nation lead by unstable people full of hate. It can’t be allowed. PS: no one needs nuclear weapons. Add - another biblical notching the belt. 

Bilderberg adds depopulation to their agenda. Anyone surprised?

Minis recover 50 to be off 50. Looking at it realistically, higher oil prices are really the only concern out of the Iran rades right now. Pretty sure everyone on the planet doesn’t want Iran to be a nuclear state. Yesterday’s price action was predictable. Regardless of anything, they’re not going to let anything trigger a turn. It’s criminal actually. Something will catch up to them eventually. Watch the 50ma on the 15, 30 and 60m charts. It’s really getting testy.

US Open starts today. Should be entertaining even for those that don’t like golf. 

Blogger blew up another post. I write it, finish it, go to post, it glitches and leaves me with my first two sentences. Arrrrrgh. They don’t like me. Gee, I wonder why? 

More rumors of wars with US v Iran on the docket. With Russia’s hands more than full with Ukraine, Iran is a sitting duck. China in trouble.

Canada is quietly recounting votes, and Carney may be out. I guess when provinces very seriously look at independence, the PTB behind the scenes (that rigged the election) can be forced to have second thoughts. With Trump being back in power, the globalists may have had their hands tied as well. Call it a tactical shift. With Trump supporting digital assets plus his AI initiative and throw Palantir into the mix - it’s a flat out setup for ultimate Chinese style control system. 1984 comes alive, or mark of the beast setup, however you want to view it. Bottom line is they have to have control over a wealthy, militarily dominant America to rule the planet. Chaos is necessary. Problem, reaction, solution - beg the government to save you. Trump may wind up being their ultimate Trojan horse.

Minis up 10. The 15m chart has a possible 100 point IHnS. It doesn’t measure to a new ATH, so I’ll continue to hold out hope for a lower high. I think we’re too close for them to fail at their mission at this point. The daily indicator setup is eerily similar to before the February downturn. Weekly is at a point it could reverse. They may get their new ATH, but a reversal of some sort should be close. Who knows in this rigged pos they call a market? TA only works now when markets are falling.
