IMO, more often than ...It works and it doesn't. IMO, more often than not they get the count right after the fact. It really has its moments, but overall, I have not bought in. I use TA and then try to apply counts to what TA says. Go to kenny and dan's sites and follow them for a few months to learn it. I mainly use it to describe where the market is headed as most get the concept of up down and positioning so it works for me as a descriptive tool better than in theory. I will say that I believe EWT did a really good job in the meat of the last fall. The books do do a nice job in getting deep into market movements and detail. I ain't counting little squiggles to possibly get it right.Shankyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07202827468828896685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7085633745029925627.post-84160445121230350562009-11-05T11:26:29.779-05:002009-11-05T11:26:29.779-05:00Shanky's, moron here...I've got a basic qu...Shanky's, moron here...I've got a basic question..I'm new to EWT and I've been deciding whether to go all in on learning, ie courses, reading etc...but this idea keeps coming back to bite me...If you don't really know what the count is until after the fact in most cases, how on earth can that be predictive in anyway? Like I've been taking a trial on Neely and he's like, might be in a trialangle, might not be, might go up, then again might go down, just depends etc...so wtf, how on earth can you really trade EWT if you don't really know the counts until after the fact?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7085633745029925627.post-83500540445434358892009-11-05T10:51:50.937-05:002009-11-05T10:51:50.937-05:00Nice! I would not consider a move to the 920 to 830 range a huge pullback and DE did not give a target. You should expect a minimum 38% retracement of the 5 wave move in a 3 (or ABC) and then another 5 up is possible. DE has a 5 and I may disagree with him and EWT there (as to the specific point of the top, but would find it hard to go against them).

You can't disagree with the indicators and what they say, so I follow them and not any specific count (as I have mentioned I do count but always use TA first which is what makes me different). So, If I see the indicators allow a little more room for upside (say 10+%) I may take a shot at it. I'm really interested in SLV though as it should (if trend holds) really pop.

Another thing about gold is the "floor" mentioned in the ZH post I linked to. Gold is not rational right now. Fear is growing. Hell, it makes sense to buy gold here or on any pullback given the economic circumstances IMO.Shankyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07202827468828896685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7085633745029925627.post-19636480089768452962009-11-04T20:54:24.472-05:002009-11-04T20:54:24.472-05:00Shanky:
